A conference to help family members deal with Alzheimer’s or dementia patients will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, at the Smullin Health Education Center, 2825 Barnett Road.
A series of workshops will offer suggestions for managing medications, coping with common behavioral problems and understanding the stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
The strategies and approach to care have been developed by nationally recognized Alzheimer’s and dementia expert Teepa Snow.
