70% of the 60,000 Oregonians living with Alzheimer’s disease live at home or in the home of a loved one. If you’re the one caring for that person, free help is available. Stephanie Barnett-Herro from Oregon Care Partners and Sara Holland of the Oregon Chaper of the Alzheimer’s Association joined us to talk about the challenges these care givers face and how their organizations can help.
Oregon Care Partners provides a wide range of classes help you gain important knowledge and skills. They can provide this training at no cost to you, thanks to funding from the State of Oregon and collaborating individuals and organizations.
